Tortellini Alfredo with Grilled Chicken

Ingredients:

For the tortellini:

20 ounces chilled five-cheese tortellini, cooked and drained according to package directions

For the grilled chicken:

3 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons Italian herb seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Boneless, skinless chicken breast cutlets 1 to 2 pounds (3 to 4 pieces)

For the Alfredo sauce:

6 tablespoons salted butter
1 tablespoon minced raw garlic
Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Medium 2 tablespoons flour
whole 1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the topping:

3 tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs
3 tablespoons grated Asiago cheese
1 teaspoon olive oil
Fresh 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Preparation:

Preparation Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F. Arrange the cooked tortellini in the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Set aside.
Seasoned Chicken: Combine olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Brush the mixture onto the chicken breasts.
Grilled Chicken: Grill chicken over medium-high heat (450-450°F) for 7-8 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let it rest before slicing.
Prepare alfredo sauce. Put the butter in a saucepan and melt it over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and garlic powder and fry until fragrant. Sprinkle flour on top and mix until smooth. Gradually add milk and cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and simmer until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese.
Assemble: Pour the Alfredo sauce evenly over the tortellini. Combine bread crumbs, Asiago cheese, and olive oil in a bowl. sprinkle over the sauce.
Bake: Place in oven for 15 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned.
Serving: Top with grilled chicken slices and garnish with fresh parsley.
