Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let the beef mixture cool slightly.
  4. Once the beef mixture is slightly cooled, add the shredded cheese and mix until evenly combined.
Step 2: Assemble the Egg Rolls
  1. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape (one corner pointing toward you).
  2. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the beef and cheese mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
  3. Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Use a little water on the final corner to seal the wrapper.
  4. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
Step 3: Fry the Egg Rolls
  1. In a deep skillet or pot, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully place a few egg rolls at a time in the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Step 4: Serve
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, spicy mayo, or sweet chili sauce.

Enjoy your cheesy beef egg rolls!
