Creamy Garlic Butter Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients:

Boneless skinless chicken breast fillet

Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 minced garlic cloves
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Preparation:

Season both sides of the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and fry until golden brown and cooked through on both sides, about 6 to 8 minutes per side. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
Melt the butter in the same frying pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add chicken broth, cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder and mix. Bring to a boil and let the sauce thicken for about 5 minutes.
Return the chicken to the pot and spoon the sauce over the breasts. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
