Introduction

This fusion dish combines the comfort of spaghetti with the bold flavors of Asian-inspired ingredients. Savory ground beef, a tangy soy-based sauce, and fragrant seasonings create a unique and delicious take on a classic pasta dish.

Ingredients

  • For the Spaghetti:
    • 12 oz spaghetti
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
  • For the Sauce:
    • 1/3 cup soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
    • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 2 tsp chili garlic sauce (optional for heat)
    • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • For the Beef Mixture:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
    • 2 green onions, sliced (plus extra for garnish)
    • 1 medium carrot, julienned or grated
    • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage or bok choy (optional)
  • Optional Toppings:
    • Sesame seeds
    • Crushed peanuts
    • Fresh cilantro
