Ingredients

For the Protein:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into thin fillets
  • ½ lb (225g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided

For the Garlic Herb Cream Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (or ½ tsp dried basil)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional:

  • 8 oz (225g) cooked pasta (like fettuccine or penne) or mashed potatoes for serving
