Ingredients:

Ground beef: 1 pound
Salt and pepper: 1/2 teaspoon each
Worcestershire sauce: 1 tablespoon
Butter: 2 tablespoons
Yellow onion: 1, chopped
Green pepper: 1/2, chopped
American cheese: 12 slices
Spring roll paper: 24
Oil: for frying (canola oil recommended)
Water: A small bowl to seal the spring rolls

Instructions:

Brown the beef: Place the beef in a pot, season with salt, Pepper, Worcestershire sauce. Try cooking larger pieces instead of chopping them into small pieces.

Cook the vegetables: In the same skillet, melt the butter and caramelize the onions and peppers.

Mix the stuffing: Mix the cooked meat and vegetables and let the mixture cool.

Assemble the egg rolls. Lay out an egg roll shell and top with half the cheese slices and 3 tablespoons of the meat mixture. Fold the wrapper into a ball and seal the edges with water.

Fry the egg rolls: Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the egg rolls until golden brown. Place excess oil on a cooling rack or brown paper bag.
