Lasagna Bolognese Recipe

Ingredients:

– 12 dried lasagna noodles
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 onion, minced
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 pound ground beef
– Tomato sauce 2 cup
– 1 red wine cup
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 cup ricotta
– 1 egg
– 3 cups mozzarella
– 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook lasagna noodles to al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic. Cook until translucent.
4. Add ground beef and ground pork. Brown until no longer pink. We will shed excess fat.
5. Add tomato sauce, red wine, beef stock, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and mix. Once it boils, reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
6. Combine ricotta, eggs, and 1 cup of mozzarella in a bowl.
7. Layer the pasta, meat sauce, and ricotta mixture in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and repeat the process. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
