SOFT POUND CAKE

Ingredients

3 cups plain flour, sifted
5 eggs, room temperature
3 cups sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla
12 ounces cream cheese ( room temperature)
Cream Bouquet (optional)

Filling:

• 1/2 cup graham crackers, crushed
• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Glaze:

• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• A little milk, depending on thickness
• Pinch vanilla
● When the cake is ready, add 1/2 of the batter and top with 1/2 of the graham cracker filling. Place on top and add the remaining batter. Other 1/2 stuffing.
●Pour the batter being careful not to damage the bottom of the mold. Tap the work surface a few times to remove any air bubbles.
●Bake at 180℃ for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Turn the cake over and let it cool before adding the frosting.
