Baked Cajun Catfish
Ingredients:
catfish fillets (approximately 170 g each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon wedges, for serving
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Baked Cajun Catfish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with baking paper or lightly oil it.
In a small bowl, combine Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
Pat the catfish fillets dry with kitchen paper. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.
Sprinkle the spice mixture liberally on both sides of each fillet and press gently to ensure it sticks.
Arrange the seasoned fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the catfish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve the grilled catfish hot, garnished with lemon and fresh parsley.
