Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup rosewater
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cardamom powder
  • 1 cup finely chopped pistachios
For the glaze:
  • 1 cuppowdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rosewater
  • Chopped pistachios, for garnish )
  • Dried rose petals (for garnish)

Prepare:

Den Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a loaf tin.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the sugar and butter until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing each one thoroughly before adding the next.
Mix milk, rose water, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined. Add crushed cardamom and chopped pistachios.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the glaze, mix together the powdered sugar and rosewater until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled bread and garnish with chopped pistachios and dried rose petals.
