Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Bacon:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, leaving some bacon fat in the skillet for flavor.
- Cook the Beef and Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Season with salt and pepper.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce:
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low. Add the butter and heavy cream, stirring until the butter melts.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese and cheddar cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy. If using, add Italian seasoning and garlic powder, mixing well.
- Combine Everything:
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the Alfredo sauce. Stir in the cooked bacon and ground beef mixture, combining everything evenly.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional cheese and chopped parsley if desired.
Tips
- Add Vegetables: Consider adding chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove, adding a splash of cream or milk to loosen the sauce if needed.
- Spice It Up: For a spicy kick, add some crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
