Chicken Lazone
Instructions
- Season the Chicken:
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder (or smoked paprika), cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with this spice mixture.
- Cook the Chicken:
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Lower the heat to medium.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to pick up any browned bits from the pan. Simmer the sauce gently, letting it thicken slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Combine and Serve:
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
