Chocolate Delight Cake
Ingredients:
For the dough:
– 4 eggs
– Pinch of salt
– 150 g (3/4 cup) sugar
– 30 g (2 tablespoons) vegetable oil
– 80 g (1/2 cup) flour
– Cocoa powder 30 g (2.5 tablespoons)
– Cornstarch 20 g (2 tablespoons)
– Baking powder 1 teaspoon
– Boiling water 60 g (4 tablespoons)
For chocolate cream:
– 2 eggs
– 50 g (sugar
– 25 g (2.5 tablespoons) Cornstarch
– 250 ml (1 cup) Milk
– 100 g Chocolate
For chocolate mousse:
– 300 g (1.5 cups) Cream (33 t)
– White chocolate 150 g
– 100 g (1 ) Cream (33 t)
– 6 g (2 tsp) Gelatin
– 40 ml (3 tbsp) Water
For chocolate ganache:
– 100 g chocolate
Chocolate Delight Cake
Preparation:
For dough:
1. Open the oven and preheat to 180°C (356°F). Grease and line a 18 x 28 cm mold.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and salt until fluffy.
3. Gradually add the sugar and mix until the mixture is thick and light.
4. Add vegetable oil and mix well.
5. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and baking powder.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and mix gently until just combined.
7. Stir the boiling water until a smooth mixture forms.
8. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
9. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
10. Allow the cake to cool completely in the mold before removing.
For the chocolate cream:
1. Combine eggs, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan and mix until everything is well combined.
2. Add milk little by little and stir until a smooth mixture forms.
3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
4. Remove from heat and stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
5. Allow the chocolate cream to cool completely before using.
