Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and grease a 24 cm baking pan.
Place the eggs in a mixing bowl, add a pinch of salt and whisk. Gradually add the sugar and continue stirring until the mixture thickens and becomes whitish.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Slowly fold this dry mixture into the egg mixture until well combined.
Add vegetable oil and mix until completely combined.
Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Leave until completely cool.
For the cream layer, mix cream cheese, cream, and sugar until smooth and creamy. Stir in the grated chocolate until evenly distributed.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cake base.
For the strawberry layer, slice strawberries and arrange them on the cream cheese layer.
Dissolve the red jelly pack in boiling water and let it cool slightly. Pour the cooled jelly over the strawberries.
Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to allow the jelly to set and the flavors to meld.
Once set, slice this decadent Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake and enjoy the perfect blend of creamy, chocolate, and fruity flavors.
