Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake
Ingredients:
– 2 cups chocolate chip cookie crumbs
– 1/4 cup melted butter
– 4 packages softened cream cheese (8 ounces each)
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 4 large eggs
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1/2 cup cream
– 1 cup melted chocolate chips
– 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 163°C (325°F).
2. Combine chocolate chip cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
5. Beat in sour cream and whipped cream until well combined.
6. Beat in melted chocolate chips until batter is smooth.
7. Pour cheesecake batter over prepared base of springform pan.
8. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are lightly browned.
9. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool for 1 hour, with the oven door slightly ajar.
10. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
11. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries before serving.
