Chocolate Vanilla Pancake Cake
Ingredients:
For the dough:
– 4 eggs
– 50 g sugar (2 heaped tablespoons)
– Pinch of salt
– Pinch vanilla extract or 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
– 160 g flour (8 tablespoons)
– 25 g cocoa Powder (2, 5 tbsp)
– 500 ml Milk
– 30 ml Vegetable oil or melted butter
For chocolate cream:
– 50 g Dark chocolate
– 50 g Cream (33 t)
– 200 g Cream
– 20 g (1 heaped tablespoon) of powdered sugar or granulated sugar
For vanilla cream:
– 250 g (33 t) of cream
– 30 g (2 tablespoons) of powdered sugar or granulated sugar
– A pinch of vanilla 1 teaspoon extract or vanilla sugar
For sprinkling:
– Cocoa powder
Chocolate Vanilla Pancake Cake
Prepare:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a round cake tin (21cm) and line it with baking paper.
2. Add eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar) to a mixing bowl and mix until fluffy.
3. Sift the flour and cocoa powder and mix until smooth.
4. Gradually add the milk and vegetable oil (or melted butter) and stir until well combined and smooth.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it out evenly.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
7. While the cake is cooling, make the chocolate cream. Place the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt over a bain-marie. Once melted, remove from heat and stir until cream is smooth. Set aside to cool.
8. For the vanilla cream, mix the heavy cream and powdered sugar (or granulated sugar) until fluffy. Add vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar) and mix well.
9. Once the cake has cooled, cut it horizontally into two layers.
10. Spread chocolate cream on one side of the cake base, then spread vanilla cream on top. Place the second cake layer on top.
11. Spread the remaining vanilla cream on top of the cake.
12. Decorate the cake by sprinkling it with cocoa powder.
13. Chill cake for at least 1 hour to mix flavors and firm cream before serving.
14. Slice these decadent Chocolate Vanilla Pancakes and serve as a delicious dessert.
