Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a similar casserole dish.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, cream cheese cubes, melted butter, milk, sugar (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add Cheese:
    • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer to Baking Dish:
    • Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Add Cracker Topping:
    • In a small bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake:
