Crispy Chicken Wings

 

Ingredients:

– 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed and wings split
– 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder /2
– 1/2 teaspoons paprika
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
– Cooking spray

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) . Place a rack on a baking sheet and lightly coat with cooking spray.
2. Pat wings dry with paper towel. This is important to achieve maximum crispiness.
3. In a large bowl, combine baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and onion powder. Add the wings and toss until evenly coated with the spice mixture.
4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared rack. Cook for 20 minutes, then flip the wings and cook for another 20 to 25 minutes or until browned and crispy.
5. Let the wings cool slightly before serving. You can enjoy it as is or with your favorite sauce.
