Crispy Fried Chicken Steak with Creamy Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 pound cubed steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Large 2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
Crispy Fried Chicken Steak with Creamy
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine 2 cups flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. ,pepper.
In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs and buttermilk.
Dip the steak pieces in the seasoned flour, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat again with the flour mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the
steaks in batches until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons flour, stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add the milk, stirring, and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
