Instructions

1. Prepare the Pork Chops

  1. Pat the pork chops dry and season with paprika and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side, just until browned.

2. Assemble in the Crock-Pot

  1. Place sliced onions and mushrooms (if using) at the bottom of the Crock-Pot.
  2. Add the seared pork chops on top.

3. Make the Gravy

  1. In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, broth, onion soup mix, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream (if using).
  2. Pour the mixture over the pork chops.

4. Cook

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and the flavors have melded.

5. Serve

  • Serve the pork chops smothered in the gravy with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
