Crock-Pot Smothered Pork Chops
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pork Chops
- Pat the pork chops dry and season with paprika and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side, just until browned.
2. Assemble in the Crock-Pot
- Place sliced onions and mushrooms (if using) at the bottom of the Crock-Pot.
- Add the seared pork chops on top.
3. Make the Gravy
- In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, broth, onion soup mix, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream (if using).
- Pour the mixture over the pork chops.
4. Cook
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and the flavors have melded.
5. Serve
- Serve the pork chops smothered in the gravy with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
