Denmark King’s Hawaiian Cheesecake
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°) Preheat to C). Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Carefully cut the entire package of
Kings Hawaiian Rolls in half horizontally so that the top and bottom are all connected. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until smooth and creamy.
Spread the cheesecake mix evenly over the bottom layer of Hawaiian rolls in the baking dish.
Place the top half of the roll on the cheesecake base and press down on the bottom slightly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheesecake is set and the top of the roll is lightly browned.
While the pastry is cooking, stir together the powdered sugar, pineapple juice, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
When the pastry is finished cooking, remove it from the oven and immediately drizzle with the pineapple glaze. If you like, sprinkle toasted coconut flakes on top for an even more tropical feel.
