Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Steak:
    • Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside to let the flavors absorb.
  2. Cook the Potatoes:
    • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
    • Add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and tender. If needed, cover the skillet to help the potatoes cook faster.
    • Once cooked, transfer the potatoes to a plate and set aside.
  3. Cook the Steak:
    • In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
    • Add the steak cubes in a single layer and sear on each side for 2-3 minutes, or until your desired level of doneness is reached. Avoid overcrowding the skillet; you may need to cook the steak in batches.
    • Once the steak is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set aside with the potatoes.
  4. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
    • Add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme, and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Combine and Serve:
    • Return the steak and potatoes to the skillet and toss to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Tips:

  • For extra crispiness, pat the steak dry before seasoning.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like green beans or asparagus during the last few minutes of cooking for a complete meal.

Enjoy your Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet—an easy yet impressive dinner in just one pan!
