Garlic Lemon Shrimp Skewers
Ingredients:
– 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 lemons, juiced and grated
– 3 cloves of garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Red pepper flakes 1 teaspoon
– salt and pepper to taste
– fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
– wooden skewers soaked in water
Garlic Lemon Shrimp Skewers
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, add lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it rest in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes.
3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
4. Place the marinated shrimp on the soaked skewers.
5. Grill the skewers for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until the shrimp are opaque and slightly browned.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
