Garlic Butter Steak and Cheesy Potatoes

Ingredients:

– For the Steaks:

– 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into cubes
– 2 tbsp minced garlic
– 4 tbsp butter
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

– For the Mashed Potatoes:

– 1 pound baby potatoes
– 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh chives, chopped, for garnish

Directions:

1. For the Potatoes:

– Cook potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and cool slightly.
– Place the potatoes on the grill plate, mash lightly with a spatula, pour in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
– Fry until golden and crisp, about 10 minutes per side.
– Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and cook until melted.

2. For the steaks:

– Heat grill over high heat and add butter.
– When butter is melted and bubbling, add garlic and saute until fragrant, about 1 minute.
– Add steak pieces, season with salt and pepper, and saute until browned on both sides, about 8 to 10 minutes.
– Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
