Homemade Chicken Shawarma
Ingredients:
Vegetables:
– Cabbage
– Carrots
– Lettuce
Sauce:
– 1 cup mayonnaise
– 1/2 cup ketchup
– 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
– 2 tablespoons Suya spice
Chicken:
– 600 g chicken
– 1/2 tablespoon garlic
– 1/2 tablespoon ginger
– 1/2 tablespoon paprika
– 1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 1 teaspoon curry powder
– Adobo
1/2 tsp – Chicken Seasoning
Directions:
1. Mix all chicken marinade ingredients and spread evenly over chicken. Marinate for at least 2 hours.
2. Grill or boil the chicken until cooked through.
3. Cut the cooked chicken into thin slices.
4. Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
5. Make shawarma by layering chicken, vegetables, and sauce on a flatbread or wrap.
6. Roll up and secure with toothpicks.
