Honey Garlic Ribs
Ingredients:
– 2 pounds pork belly
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 6 garlic cloves, minced
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
– Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Honey Garlic Ribs
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and garlic. , brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
2. Place the ribs in a large baking dish and rub evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
3. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
4. Pour the vegetable oil over the marinated ribs. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
5. Remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and bake for a further 30 minutes, or until the ribs are golden brown and caramelized.
6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
