Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ribs:
    • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
    • Season the ribs generously with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder on both sides.
    • Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil, sealing tightly to lock in moisture.
  2. Bake the Ribs:
    • Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 2.5-3 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
  3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup (if using), and black pepper.
    • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently until it thickens slightly (about 5-8 minutes). If needed, add a bit of water to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Glaze the Ribs:
    • Once the ribs are done baking, remove them from the foil and place them on a baking sheet lined with foil.
    • Brush the honey garlic sauce generously over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Broil:
    • Preheat your broiler to high.
    • Broil the ribs for 3-5 minutes, just until the sauce begins to caramelize and get sticky. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  6. Serve:
    • Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then slice them into individual ribs and serve hot.

Tips:

  • For a deeper flavor, marinate the ribs in the honey garlic sauce for a few hours before cooking.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for a nice finish.

Enjoy your delicious Honey Garlic Ribs!
