Honey Glazed Baby Back Ribs
Preparation:
1. Remove the membrane on the back. Cover the ribs with a paper towel so the spices are better absorbed.
2. In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, black pepper, sea salt, and cayenne pepper. Rub the mixture over the ribs, evenly covering both sides. Marinate for at least an hour or overnight in the refrigerator for a more intense flavor.
4. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C). Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
5. Simmer for 2.5 to 3 hours or until the meat is tender and falls off the bone.
6. Optional: For a crispy outside, remove the foil, brush the ribs with more glaze, and grill until caramelized, 3 to 5 minutes.
7. Let rest for 10 minutes before grilling, then cut into individual ribs and serve.
