Hot Lemon Pepper Shrimp
Ingredients:
– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 lemon, zest and juice
– 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Hot Lemon Pepper Shrimp
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined.
2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly in the marinade. Let sit for 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator to marinate.
3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
4. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
