Juicy Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
- Butter 150 g (2/3 cup)
- Pinch of salt
- Sugar 130 g (1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons)
- 3 eggs
- Flour 280 g (1 + 3/4 cup)
- Baking dough 16 g powder (3 tsp).
- Milk 90 g (6 tablespoons)
- Cocoa 15 g (1 tablespoon)
- Cherries from a jar 350 g (2 cups)
- Cherry juice 60 g (4 tablespoons)

- Baking tin size: 20 cm x 30 cm
- Baking temperature: 180°C (356°F)
- Baking time: 25 minutes
Juicy Chocolate Cake
Instructions:
Preparing the cake:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease and flour a 20 x 30 cm baking pan.
Cream the butter, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl until a light and fluffy mixture forms.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.
Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture, alternating with milk, stirring until smooth.
Stir in the cocoa powder until evenly mixed.
Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
Spread the cherries over the dough and press down lightly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Leave until completely cool.
