Hot Honey Gold & Lemon Pepper Chicken
Ingredients:
– 4 boneless skinless chicken breast fillets
– 1/4 cup hot honey
– 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Juice 1 lemon
– 1 teaspoon lemon zest
– 1/4 cup chicken broth
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Hot Honey Gold & Lemon Pepper Chicken
Preparation:
1. In a small bowl, combine the warm honey, lemon pepper seasoning, Add garlic powder and salt and mix. Mix well.
2. Rub the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Remove chicken from pot and set aside.
5. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth to the same pot. Bring to a boil, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pot. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly.
6. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss with the sauce.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
