Lobster Tail with Garlic Butter Cream Sauce
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
- Preheat your oven to broil (or set it to 500°F/260°C).
- Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, stopping before the tail fin. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell, resting it on top for easy broiling.
- Brush the lobster meat with melted butter, and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly golden on top. Cooking times may vary depending on the size of the tails.
2. Make the Garlic Butter Cream Sauce:
- While the lobster is broiling, melt 2 tbsp of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and broth, stirring well. Let the sauce simmer for about 3-4 minutes until it starts to thicken.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard, if using. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and continue simmering until the sauce is creamy and coats the back of a spoon.
3. Serve:
- Remove the lobster tails from the oven and spoon the garlic butter cream sauce generously over each tail.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
This lobster dish is decadent, full of flavor, and ideal for special occasions! Enjoy!
