Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) package spaghetti, folded into 2-inch pieces
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4
jar 1 (16 oz) spaghetti sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried basil
4 oz pepperoni sausage, sliced ​​

Directions

Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Coat a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender but still chewy, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Combine 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, milk, eggs, salt, and garlic salt in a large bowl. Add the drained spaghetti and mix well. Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and reduce the temperature to 175°C (350°F).
Spread spaghetti sauce over pasta mixture. Sprinkle with oregano and basil and top with remaining 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese. Arrange the pepperoni on top of the cheese.
Return to oven and bake until cheese is bubbly and beginning to brown, about 30 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
