Mississippi Mud Potatoes
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large saucepan, boil the diced potatoes in boiling salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.
3. Add the melted butter, shredded cheddar cheese, diced bacon, sliced green onions, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes. Mix well.
4. Pour potato mixture into prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly on top.
6. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving. Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 30 minutes | Total time: 50 minutes
