Orange Honey Pepper Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
– 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed and drums and wings separated
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/2 cup orange juice
– 1/4 cup honey
– Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
– 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
– Zest of 1 orange
– 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped for garnish
Orange Honey Pepper Chicken Wings
Preparation:
1. Oven Preheat to 200°C. (200℃).
2. Mix chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
3. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
4. While the wings are baking, combine the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes.
5. When the wings are done, add them to the sauce and put them in the oven for another 5 minutes.
6. Garnish with orange zest and chopped coriander before serving.
