Peach Halva Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
250 g halva
200 g butter
150 g sugar
5 eggs
200 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 can peaches
For the glaze:
100 g chocolate
2 tbsp milk

Methods
Oven ~ 180 °C Preheat to (350 °F). Grease and line a square baking pan.
Crush the halwa in a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add
eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually add the flour and baking powder to the butter mixture and stir until everything is well mixed.
Mix the crushed halva until evenly mixed.
Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
Remove the peaches from the tin and spread them over the dough.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
For the glaze:
In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate and milk over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
Pour the chocolate icing onto the cooled cake.
