Philadelphia Cheese Meatloaf
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 cup sliced provolone cheese
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon mustard
Philadelphia Cheese Meatloaf
Instructions
Oven to 350°F (175°F) Preheat to. ℃).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom of the loaf pan.
Place the provolone cheese slices over the meat, leaving a small border around the edges.
Cover with remaining meat mixture and press edges to seal.
Combine beef broth, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a small bowl. Pour this sauce over the meatloaf.
Bake for 1 hour or until meatloaf is cooked through.
Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
