Introduction

Philly Steak Cheese Fries combine the savory, cheesy goodness of a classic Philly cheesesteak with the crispy deliciousness of loaded fries. This indulgent dish is perfect for game nights, parties, or as a hearty comfort food option.

Ingredients

  • For the Fries:
    • 1 (28 oz) bag of frozen French fries or 4 medium potatoes, cut into fries
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil (if using fresh potatoes)
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • For the Topping:
    • 1 pound ribeye steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
    • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
    • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    • 1 small red bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
    • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • For the Cheese Sauce:
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 1 1/4 cups milk
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone cheese (or a mix of provolone and mozzarella)
