Potato Gratin
Ingredients:
2 pounds thinly sliced potatoes
1 cup cream
1 cup whole milk
2 cloves minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon coffee, black pepper
1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme, minced
1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 1/2 cups grated Gruyere
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Potato Gratin
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a medium saucepan, combine cream, milk, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Heat over medium heat until it starts to boil, then remove from heat.
Place half of the potato slices in the prepared baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with half of the Gruyère cheese.
Repeat with remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and Gruyère. Top with Parmesan cheese.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown on top.
Let the gratin rest for 10 minutes before serving.
