Samoa Dessert Lasagna Extravaganza
Ingredients:
For the crust
1 1/2 cups crushed chive wafers
1/2 cup toasted shredded coconut
6 tablespoons melted butter
For the caramel layer
1 (10.4 oz) Jar caramel
For the chocolate layer
2 (3.9 oz) ) Box Instant Chocolate Pudding
2 cups cold milk
For the cream cheese layer
2 cups heavy cream
1 block cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
For garnish
1 cup toasted and sweetened coconut flakes
Melted 1/2 cup chopped chocolate chips
Warm caramel, for drizzling
Samoa Dessert Lasagna Extravaganza
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 177°C (350°F). Combine the shredded chives, coconut, and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and bake until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Let it cool down.
Spread the caramel evenly over the cooled dough.
In a separate medium bowl, stir together the pudding mix and milk until thickened. Pour over the caramel layer and smooth.
In a large bowl, whisk the cream until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then add the whipped cream. Pour over the pudding layer and smooth. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Serve topped with toasted coconut and drizzled with melted chocolate and caramel.
