Seafood White Wine Sauce
Ingredients:
Linguine pasta
– 400g Seafood mix (prawns, scallops, squid rings) 200g
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 2 minced garlic cloves
– 1/2 cup white wine
– 1 cup cream
– 1/tsp red pepper flakes 2
– Season with salt and pepper
– Fresh parsley, chopped 1 tablespoon
– Lemon wedges, for serving
Seafood White Wine Sauce
Preparation:
1. Cook linguine al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add mixed seafood to pot and cook until just opaque, about 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Pour in the white wine and simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
5. Reduce heat and stir in cream, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, 3 to 4 minutes.
6. Add the cooked linguine to the sauce and mix well to evenly coat the pasta.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon.
