Southern Brisket Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
8-10 oz cooked brisket, shredded
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
8 slices of white bread
1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Medium In a medium-sized bowl, combine beef brisket and barbecue sauce.
Butter one side of two slices of bread and place them, butter side down, in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Top each slice with a handful of cheddar cheese.
Next, place a layer of beef brisket on top of each slice of bread.
Top with another handful of cheese and remaining bread slices, buttered side up. Place the lid on the pot.
Bake until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted, about 4 minutes per side.
Make the remaining two sandwiches in the same way.
Cut each sandwich in half and serve hot.
