  • 2 large English cucumbers or 4-5 Korean cucumbers
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Korean red chili flakes (gochugaru)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Optional: a pinch of black pepper or sliced red chili for garnish
