Ingredients:

– For the dough:

– 6 eggs
– 180 g (3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons) Sugar
– Pinch of salt
– 160 g (1 cup) Flour
– 1 teaspoon Baking powder
– 35 g (3 tablespoons) Cocoa
– Baking pan 28x18cm

– For the cream:

– 500g (3 cups) Strawberries
– 3 bananas
– 600g (2.5 cups) Cream cheese
– 400g (2 cups) Cream 33t
– Sugar 100g (1/2 cup)

– For the couverture:

– 150g dark chocolate
– 50g (2 tablespoons) butter

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Preheat and grease a 28x18cm baking pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and a pinch of salt until light and fluffy.
3. Sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Mix slowly until everything is well mixed.
4. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool completely.

7. For the cream, puree the strawberries and bananas in a blender until smooth.
8. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, cream, and sugar until smooth and creamy.
9. Gently add the strawberry and banana puree until everything is well mixed.
10. Spread the cream mixture evenly over the cooled cake base.
11. Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until the cream has set.

12. For the couverture, melt the dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over boiling water, stirring until smooth.
13. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cooled cream layer and distribute evenly.
14. Return cake to refrigerator and chill until chocolate layer hardens.

15. Once set, slice and serve chilled. Enjoy this heavenly treat.
