Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Donuts
Ingredients:
For the donuts:
- 1 cup warm milk
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 large eggs
For the filling:
1 cup softened cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup strawberry jam
For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Vanilla Essence 1/2 teaspoon
Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Donuts
Preparation:
Prepare the dough: In a bowl, dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar in warm milk. Let stand for about 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, salt, melted butter, eggs, and remaining sugar. Knead everything until smooth. Let it ferment until it doubles in volume.
Shape and fry the donuts: Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to 1.27 cm (1.27 cm) thick. Cut out the donuts and let them rise again. Fry in oil at 190℃ until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Prepare the filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in the strawberry jam.
Fill the donuts: Once cool, poke holes in the sides of each donut. Pipe out the strawberry cheesecake filling.
Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over the filled donuts.
