Strawberry Cream Cheese Delight Cake
Ingredients:
For the dough:
– 5 eggs
– 150 g (3/4 cup) sugar
– 8 g (1/2 tbsp) vanilla sugar
– Pinch of salt
– 120 g (3/4 cup) Flour
– 1 tsp Baking powder
– 30 g (2.5 tbsp) Cocoa powder
For the filling:
– 60 g (4 tbsp) Sugar
– 50 ml (1/5 cup) Water
– 45 g (4.5 tbsp) Cornstarch
– 100 ml (2/5 cup) Water
– 300 g (1.3 cup) Cream Cheese
– 50 g Sugar
For cream:
– 300 g (1.3 cup) Cream Cheese
– 50 g (1/ 4 cups) Sugar
– 400 g (2 cups) Cream (33 t)
– 600 g Strawberries
For the chocolate layer:
– 150 g Chocolate
– 75 g (3 tablespoons) Butter
Strawberry Cream Cheese Delight Cake
Instruction
For the dough:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease and line a 28 x 18 cm baking tin.
2. Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt in a bowl until fluffy.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and mix carefully until everything is well combined.
5. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
6. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Let the cake cool completely in the tin before removing.
For the filling:
1. Combine sugar and 50 ml of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
2. Dissolve the cornstarch in 100 ml of water in a small bowl.
3. Gradually pour the cornstarch mixture into the boiling sugar syrup, stirring constantly until it thickens.
4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
5. Combine cream cheese and 50g sugar in a bowl and mix until smooth.
6. Gradually add the cooled cornstarch mixture to the cream cheese and mix well.
