Strawberry Earthquake Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box strawberry cake mix (plus ingredients listed on package)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-by-13-inch baking dish or line with baking paper for easier removal.
- Step 2: Prepare the strawberry cake mix according to package instructions and mix in any additional ingredients listed on the package.
- Step 3: Pour the prepared cake batter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Step 4: In a mixing bowl, mix softened cream cheese, melted unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Step 5: Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on the surface of the cake batter in the baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Step 6: Spoon a generous amount of the strawberry pie filling over the cream cheese mixture.
- Step 7: Using a butter knife or spatula, gently mix together the cake batter, cream cheese mixture, and strawberry filling to create a marble pattern.
- Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until cake is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
