Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Steak

  1. Season the steaks generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust based on your preference). Remove and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

3. Cook the Shrimp

  1. In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
  2. Season the shrimp with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

4. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, whisking until smooth. Adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.

5. Combine the Pasta

  1. Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly.

6. Assemble the Dish

  1. Plate the pasta and top with sliced steak and seared shrimp.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan, if desired.
