Honey Glaze Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
– 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
– 1 cup buttermilk
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon paprika
– 2 teaspoons garlic powder
– 2 teaspoons onion powder
– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– salt and pepper to taste
– vegetable oil for frying
For the honey glaze:
– 1/2 cup honey
– 1 tablespoon hot sauce
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon grated ginger
– cloves 2 garlic, Minced
Honey Glaze Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken
Preparation:
1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
2. Combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
3. Heat frying oil or vegetable oil in a large pot to 175°C.
4. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, dip into the flour mixture and fry for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
5. To make the glaze, combine honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.
6. Brush the roast chicken generously with the honey glaze.
